The political climate speaks of “opacity” of the BCE but without being alarmist

The political reaction to the silence of the Central Bank has turned against the government´s management. It is a sign of an opacity that now reaches the gross domestic product figures of the first-quarter and which is not helpful due to the distrust it generates, according to the statements collected yesterday by Daily Expreso.
Before a 15 days delay in the publication of the quarterly national accounts, this newspaper again consulted the responsible institution, the BCE, on the reasons for the delay and the expected date to understand the behavior of this indicator that measures the economy´s performance.
