The restitution of Ruptura opens the way back to three parties
Ecuadornews:

The restitution of the legal life of the Ruptura movement gives rise to the fact that the other three political organizations that ran with their same fate can resuscitate: the Popular Democratic Movement (MPD), the Institutional National Action Renewal Party (Prian) and the Ecuadorian Roldosista Party ( PRE).
In the case of the latter, prepare the order for restitution. Dalo Bucaram, national director of the Fuerza EC party, a political organization that was born from the foundations of the extinct PRE, informed EXPRESO that he plans to formally present the request before the transitory National Electoral Council.
The resolution of the entity in charge also motivates the leadership of the disappeared Prian, now grouped in the Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante party. Wilson Sánchez, national director of the latter organization, said that these days they will analyze the resolution of the transitory and will make a decision.
The leadership of the late MPD waits in the next few days to return with the number 15 to the registers of political organizations since, together with Ruptura, they requested the restitution of their registration based on the report with which the Council of Citizen Participation transitory ceased in its functions to the previous National Electoral Council. That same document served as the basis for the resurgence of Rupture.
Geovanni Atarihuana, national director of Popular Unity, before MPD, anticipates that once they are reinstated, as expected, it will initiate a process of merger of the two organizations that the Code of Democracy contemplates.
In Ruptura they breathe joy, but now what? Silvia Buendía, leader of the movement in Guayas, comments to this newspaper that the dynamics of the organization did not change much after its elimination from the registry, so the decision of the transitory National Electoral Council does not take them by surprise and it remains to continue its militancy. “Now that we have the number, things change, but not so much, because we have always been working. There is no immediate change because it is constant work. “
Norman Wray, also a militant and former presidential candidate for the flag of Ruptura, talks about regaining contact with some leaders in the provinces, who once the news is known, are willing to reactivate the militancy. And not only that: “we will continue to build the proposals that we are going to propose to Ecuador.”
The movement will not be able to participate in the elections of next March, nor any of the other three in the case of being restored in the registry. They go for the presidential elections of 2021. (I)
