The Trial to the 11-S Accomplices was Postponed
This Saturday at Guantanamo Bay the trial of alleged organizers and executors of the attack of September 11, 2001 was postponed.
From the start, the accused five men have challenged the established court and refused to listen through the headphones that the court has ordered for the simultaneous translation.
About an hour after the hearing started, the trial was not leading anywhere.
This continued all the morning. And after more than 12 hours of hearing, without a trial date, the conclusion is that the five defendants refused to declare themselves innocent or guilty and have postponed that decision for another day.
A trial date is closing, but not before May 5 next year. Until then, Sheij Mohamed and his alleged accomplices: : Ali Abdul Aziz Ali, Walid bin Attash, Ramzi Bin al Shibh, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi, will remain in Guantanamo Bay. (ARL)
