Those involved in the Ecuafutbol case will not be extradited, says prosecutor Galo Chiriboga

Those involved in the Ecuafutbol case: Luis Chiriboga Acosta, Francisco Acosta and Vinicio Luna, who, according to disclosures of the Attorney General´s office “would be responsible for the crime of money laundering,” will not be extradited. This was stated this morning by Attorney General Galo Chiriboga.

“If prosecutor Loretta Lynch (United States) sends information on the case of corruption and they discovered this in their country, we will not extradite them by legal and constitutional provisions, but we will assume the obligation to investigate under the Ecuadorian legal system,”  Chiriboga said to the Ecuavisa newscast.
