Thousands of faithful at the procession of San Jacinto in Yaguachi
Yesterday afternoon, Thousands of devotees participated in a procession in honor of San Jacinto, patron of Yaguachi, which toured streets of the Canton and was the pinnacle event of the patron-saint festivities of this traditional Ecuadorian Coast city.
With Masses every two hours held in the central church, arts, cultural and religious festivals and massive craft fairs, as well as a wide range of cuisine, Yaguachi received thousands of visitors, mostly devotees of San Jacinto, Saint to whom they attribute holy miracles and favors.
The traditional religious festival has provincial, national and international importance, besides tourists from different cities of the country, also tourists from another countries arrive, especially the United States, Spain, Peru and Italy.
