Coalition Government in Greece

Three Greek parties –Democracy, Pasok and Dimar– agreed on terms to form a new government in the country.

“Greece has a government … that’s the message we need to send abroad,” said Evangelos Venizelos, from the Pasok movement.

It should be noted that the Mediterranean country had 223 days without a government by election.

The Greeks went to the polls last Sunday, while the country struggles to break a political and financial deadlock that threatens the common European currency, which could lead to a new global financial crisis. (MZ)
