Today is the deadline for registration of candidates

Several political groups have registered their binomials for the 2013 elections.
Until today, the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) allows the political groups to register its candidates for various political dignitaries who will participate in the elections of February 2013.
Yesterday, in the midst of a busy day, several binomials were registered on the electoral list. The first one representrs the Creando Oportunidades movement (CREO) and is formed by Guillermo Lasso, and his companion, Juan Carlos Solines.
The second one represents the Sociedad Unida Mas Accion movement and is formed by Mauricio Rodas and his partner, Ines Manzano, and the third one belongs the Partido Sociedad Patriotica (PSP) represented by Lucio Gutierrez and Perla Boyes.
These binomials are added to the other three already recorded (Alianza PAIS, MPD-PK and PRIAN).
The Partido Roldosista Ecuatoriano (PRE) yesterday went at night to the CNE, to register its candidate, Abdala Bucaram Ortiz, and his companion, Dennys Cevallos. If the CNE approves the binomial, Bucaram, currently in exiled in Panama, would return to the country next Tuesday. (MZ)
