Toño Noboa is The New President of Barcelona Sporting Club

More than 1,500 members of the 2,150 registered in Barcelona Sporting Club attended the Monumental Stadium to elect the new president of the yellow club.
Minutes before the end of the elections, about 100 members of the Sur Oscura fan club tried to force their entrance to the voting area and disrupted the process, that ended at 16:00.
By 17:00, candidates Antonio Noboa and Jose Herrera were attentive to the counting of the votes.
“63% of the votes went to Antonio Noboa,” sports journalist Diego Arcos wrote in Twitter, which means that the leader of list 2, Primero Barcelona, won the elections.
“This is a historical day, because this team needs a change”, said Toño Noboa, the new president of BSC, who will be in charge until 2015.
Noboa got 886 votes while Herrera got 649, there were 4 spoil and a blank ballot papers.
