Tungurahua Volcano continues throwing incandescent material

On Monday night, was seen in the volcano Tungurahua output of incandescent material.
According to the Geophysical Institute at the observatory of Guadalupe, the Tungurahua volcano, in the last hours, has presented strombolian activity, due to the strong expulsion of incandescent rocks.
From Wednesday night and Thursday morning, the sky remained cloudy and semi-clear, making it possible to witness the expulsion of flaming rocks and emissions.
Patricia Mothes, technician at the Institute, said that when the output of material increases, the explosions which range from small to moderate grow to a maximum of 2 kilometers from the crater level with some moderate ash load.
Until Thursday was registered a total of 156 explosions, moderate to high, according to details provided by the GI in Tungurahua, plus a detection of 180 minor earthquakes of “long period”, related to the movement of fluids inside the volcano, and 12 periods of tremor, or constant trembling, by the emission of gases and ash.
