U.S. Attack on Syria in the hands of parliamentarians
U.S. President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and the chief of presidential services have multiplied phone calls to senators and political representatives as part of a campaign to convince the parliament to support military intervention in Syria.
The objective of each call or meeting was to raise awareness about the dangers of using chemical weapons in the Middle Eastern nations, “if nothing is done with (Syrian President Bashar) Assad, the deterrent impact of the international regulation against the use of chemical weapons will be weakened and it will be a risk if Assad and his top allies, Hezbollah and Iran, also consider that a flagrant violation of international standards has no effect, “said the statement from the White House.
Today, the U.S. president will meet with John McCain, powerful influential Republican, who had said he was not sure if supporting an intervention in Syria was a good idea.

Obama keeps on his campaign for convincing influential politicians on supporting the idea of attacking Syria.
