Unesco Determines 26 New Heritages

Rio de Janeiro is on the list. Rio Landscapes convinced Unesco.
Unesco has identified 26 new sites to the World Heritage List.
Landscapes between the mountains and the sky in Rio de Janeiro entered the famous list, which now has a total of 962 sites.
For the first time sites in Chad, Congo, Palau and the Palestinian National Authority, were enrolled.
The 26 sites were chosen from 36 applications that were proposed at the beginning of the session in the old capital of the Russian tsars.
The 36th session of the Unesco World Heritage began on June 24 and will end in July 6. (MZ)
