US Presidential Candidate Bachmann Bows Out
Posted On 04 Jan 2012
Minnesota’s Republican candidate Michele Bachmann is suspending her presidential campaign after her failure to earn votes in Iowa. On Wednesday a Republican source familiar to Bachmann’s plan told the CNN Chief National Correspondent, John King that the candidate “will acknowledge the reality of Iowa’s vote.”
King’s informant also confirmed that Bachmann’s plan to travel to South Carolina “isn’t going to happen.” The former presidential candidate from Minnesota added, “I have decided to stand aside. If we are going to take back our country, we must do so united.” (AV)
