Walt Disney Co. and Marvel prepare the launch of new comic together

Animated companies announced the forthcoming publication of the new comic “Seekers of the Weird # 1”, in January 2014, under the seal of Disney Kingdoms. The cartoon will feature five different issues.

This miniseries was inspired by the Imaginary Rolly Crump, created in 1965 as an attraction of the Museum of the Weird in Disneyland but after Walt Disney’s death, the design was never built.

The story, written by Brandon Seifert (Witch Doctor), and illustrated by Karl Moline (Avengers Arena), will tell the story of the young Maxwell and Melody, who must go through the museum full of supernatural oddities to find their parents who were kidnapped.
