Yahoo’s Chairman Resigned
Posted On 08 Feb 2012
After Scott Thompson’s departure as CEO, Yahoo’s chairman of the board, Roy Bostock, presented his resignation. Afterwards he sent a letter to the company’s shareholders in which he mentions that the company is in a position to “drive innovation and growth going forward.”
Bostock said he will not seek re-election at the next shareholders’ meeting, neither three of the other Yahoo directors.
The board elected two new directors yesterday, Alfred Amoroso and Maynard Webb, Jr., and will seek more directors.
