The oil company YPF, controlled by the Argentine government, reported yesterday it plans to appeal the order issued by a judge of providing the information requested by opposition deputies on the agreement with Chevron to exploit Vaca Muerta.
“YPF will appeal the decision of the federal judge of administrative litigation, María José Sarmiento, to give rise to a file requested by the national deputy Manuel Garrido to reach an agreement between YPF and Chevron,” said the oil company in a statement.
YPF said that “they timely spread all the material aspects of the contract with Chevron” and that they informed both the Stock of Buenos Aires as the regulators of markets in Argentina and the United States.
