10 subheadings are excluded from submitting certificates for import
The National Customs Service (Senae) reported yesterday that 10 premium materials subheadings of feeding characteristics have been excluded of presenting the Certificate of Recognition to import.
The resolution indicates, in Article 2, that Customs will create additional codes for the ten subheadings referred. Added that the reform is in place since last Wednesday and importers can now benefit from the exclusion.
Deputy Secretary of Trade Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Juan Francisco Ballen, said that the additional codes are used to distinguish whether a product is final or if it is input or raw material.
“Once we have completed the respective studies and just as this resolution is an example, will continue which be necessary,” he said, regarding the possibility of excluding other raw materials of delivering the certificate.
