107 exhibitors from the aquaculture sector present products and services at Aqua Expo El Oro

On Tuesday night, the inauguration of Aqua Expo El Oro was held, a commercial technical event that in this edition has 107 stands of products and services for the aquaculture sector.
“This is an event that has become a fundamental pillar to raise awareness of new technologies for the sector and at the same time transmit knowledge thanks to the cycle of conferences of national and foreign experts” said José Antonio Camposano, Executive Chairman of the Chamber National Aquaculture.
Until Thursday, the 14 speakers will address topics of interest to the sector, such as: sustainable, social and environmental management of a shrimp farm, good practices in laboratories, optimization of energy in pumping systems, technological transformation, and management strategies for the Shrimp health, among others.
“We are moving forward with the support agreement to improve production and employment, the shrimp sector occupies more than 210 thousand jobs, and our interest is to attract investment,” said the Minister of Aquaculture and Fisheries, Ana Katuska Drouet.
The shrimp producers were optimistic about the government’s commitment to improve credit and security lines for the sector, “There are sectors where electrical networks have been improved and installed that allow us to increase productivity and quality,” said Rogger Basurto , member of the Shrimp Producers Association Jorge Kaiser – Santa Rosa APROCAM.
