161 Officials Were Dismissed by CJT Decision

After the resignation of 161 judicial officials, judges and administrative personnel of several provinces in the country, the Judicial Council of transition (CJT for its Spanish acronym) has officially initiated the cleaning process thanks to the power obtained in the Ecuadorian referendum of last May 7.
The three members of the CJT, Paulo Rodriguez, Tania Arias, and Fernando Yavar, began to work according to the resolution 001 on August 2.
Rodriguez is currently leading the JC of transition, he recently informed that every judicial official understood the “decision of the people” (in the polls). (AV)
