El Universo Appealing Case Was Suspended Until Tomorrow

The raffle of the cause and the system applied in the verdict of El Universo-Rafael Correa was suspended today. There will be another raffle o be performed at 11:00 tomorrow since there were several technical problems that occurred during this process.

President Rafael Correa’s lawyer, Gutemberg Vera, and Byron Lopez, representative of Emilio Palacio waited for the raffle to appeal the sentence given in El Universo newspaper case.

The appealing raffle seeks to review the sentence imposed by judge Juan Paredes.  (AV)
