17 teacher of the Juan Montufar school will be penalized

The Ministry of Education said that after the demonstrations of last week, in the Juan Pio Montufar School, the District Direction received a report that establishes different levels of responsibility for 9 inspectors and 8 teachers (one among the relocated teacher´s staff). Administrative proceedings and suspension (called protection measure) with a compensation, are being set up during the investigation process, are being set up while the research process lasts.
“Complaints filed by parents came this week; teachers with bad evaluations; teachers who were demanding the purchase of books, textbooks, when this is prohibited. The complaint filed by the educational community identified an additional group of teachers who shall be relocated for the offenses they committed,” said yesterday Minister Augusto Espinosa.
