200 thousand sharks fin were found in blanket

José Serrano, Minister of the Interior, reported the discovery of some 200 thousand landing shark fins in Manta.

“We have apprehended 3 individuals, in 9 raids we found the fins which means the sacrifice of not less than 25 thousand sharks, Manta, great work of the Judicial Police”, said the Minister in his Twitter account.

The General Prosecutor’s Office of Ecuador announced the arrest of 4 individuals and the seizure of 7 guns.
