21 Ecuadorian Athletes Approved for London 2012 Olympics

Sofia Padilla will join the Ecuadorian delegation that will go to London 2012 Olympics, after she received her wild card or invitation letter from the International Federation of Olympic Shooting, said President of the Ecuadorian Federation of Olympic Shooting (FETO for its acronym) Ronald Dunn, with her the number of athletes qualified are 21.

According to Dunn, on Monday came a statement from the Ecuadorian Olympic Committee (COE for its acronym) which made ​official that the application made by the national office had been approved.

The athlete, who will compete in London on the rifle test, ranked fifth in the Pan American Games of Guadalajara 2011 by accumulating 391 points, minimum score which allowed her to receive the invitation. (ARL)
