Posted On 03 May 2012
Last night, Club Sport Emelec ended its match against the Corinthians team in a tie, during the eighth period of the Copa Libertadores Championship, at the Capwell Stadium in Guayaquil.
In the first half of the game, Emelec showed its dominance, however, the blue team did not profit with the expulsion of Jorge Enrique after minute 52.
In the second half, Coach Marcelo Fleitas made variants in Emelec’s gameplay, which improved the team dynamics with two clear scoring opportunities.
With this tie, the Ecuadorian team loses a point, however, before the game, the Corinthians coach Tite, said that he rather lose 2-1 in the Capwell to end up with a scoreless match, because next Wednesday Emelec could add a goal in Sao Paulo.
