32,156 cars have been sold in five months in Ecuador

In the first five months of this year, 11,188 vehicles more than in the same period of 2016 were sold, according to the Association of Automotive Companies of Ecuador.
Up to May, 32,156 cars were sold in total, while in the same period of the previous year the figure stood at 20,968. The sector is optimistic. The manager of the Ecuadorian Automotive Association (AEA) Manuel Murtinho considers, for example, that without safeguard tariffs the truck segment will be reactivated. (I)
