33 suspected cases of Zika are analyzed in Ecuador

56a971dc54a12The majority of suspected cases of zika that are being analyzed in Ecuador are concentrated in Guayas, Manabi and Azuay. The process is conducted by the National Institute of Public Health Research (Inspi). There are a total of 33 suspected cases, according to the third epidemiological bulletin of the Ministry of Public Health.

It was planned that the figures of this week were updated yesterday, January 27, 2016 at night. Of the 17 confirmed cases, nine are local and eight imported. The state agency develops a door-to-door campaign to provide information, especially for pregnant women in high risk areas.
