$ 60 coronavirus bonuses: Requirements to be benefited and how to collect government social assistance

On his Twitter account the Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion, Iván Granda, alerted to false messages of alleged bonds that will be delivered due to the emergency.
The $ 60 contingency bond was announced last Friday by President Lenin Moreno. It will be received by 400,000 family nuclei, made up mostly of four members, who are underemployed and whose income is less than $ 400.
The payment will be made in April and May next in the six thousand authorized points of the financial network.
According to a MIES statement, the beneficiaries are identified in the Social Registry and the vast majority are self-employed, who are below the poverty line and who are engaged in agriculture, animal husbandry, construction, services , domestic workers, sales, neighborhood stores, street food sales, bakery and pastry, among other vulnerable activities affected by the emergency.
MIES will contact all beneficiaries through official calls or messages. For more information, the free line is available (1800 002 002) and bonocontingencia@inclusion.gob.ec . Complaints and requests will also be dealt with through institutional accounts on social networks.
The Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion explained that the delivery will be made similar to the schedule for the payment of the Human Development Bonus. For example, if the beneficiary’s ID number ends in 1, you can collect on April 1, 11 or 21.
According to the Government, the delivery of this bonus will reduce the economic impact on the families of the workers who need it most and guarantee an income so that they can remain at home as a preventive measure.
