72-hours Liquor Prohibition in Ecuador

The Ecuadorian Ministry of Health announced this afternoon a liquor prohibition on a national scale due to the 21 victims that perished different provinces of the country because of consuming adulterated liquor.
The prohibition was set at 6pm when it was discovered that 19 victims perished in Los Rios for consuming the liquor, another one in the Tungurahua province and one more in Azuay. However the five provinces that register intoxicated patients are Los Rios, Azuay, Tungurahua, Santo Domingo, and Pichincha.
