74 thousand beneficiary families of BDH will receive Variable Bonus

This economic transfer is intended for families in extreme poverty and vulnerability, BDH users and who have children less than 18 years of age.
According to the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES), a total of 74,000 family units, which currently receive the Human Development Bonus (BDH) of US $ 50 per month, will receive the Variable Bonus. This economic transfer is intended for families in extreme poverty and vulnerability, BDH users and who have children less than 18 years of age.
The families, who currently receive the BDH, with children under 5 years of age, will receive the following additional values: US $ 30 for the first child; US $ 27 for the second and US $ 24.30 for the third child. The households that are BDH users, with children between 5 and 18 years old, will receive: US $ 10 for the first child; US $ 9 for the second and US $ 8.10 for the third child.
It was established that, during this year, 74 thousand families in extreme poverty receive the Variable Bonus. This figure was taken from the current database of the users of the Human Development Bond and the Social Registry.
The objective of the Variable Bono is to strengthen the capacities of the family, user of the BDH, promoting the principle of co-responsibility, through a mechanism of family accompaniment, to guarantee that girls, boys and adolescents exercise their right to education, health and food. (I)
