74 thousand signatures of the YASunidos were rejected after review
9.271 forms introduced by the collective YASunidos to promote a popular consultation on the exploitation of oil in the Yasuni Park area were discarded by the National Electoral Council (CNE).
This, after the review process which was to verify the format and physical state of documents, its header (if had date, numbers and question) and data gatherers of signatures.
On April 12, YASunidos gave the CNE 107.008 forms. Each with eight lockers. That mean that the refusal of 9.271 forms would imply that 74.168 signatures would be out of the phase of verification of validity. |
The notification runs within 24 hours so that the collective, and the CNE Board a certificate of delivery and receipt, and then 15 days so the Agency confirm if there is the minimum legal of signatures required, which is 583.324.
