800 mts bridge proposal does not yet have an executor

Studies conducted by the national government in nearly a million dollars and which suggest the construction of a 800 meter bridge to link Samborondón with Guayaquil, at a cost of $ 143 million, have no executor defined.

The head of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP for its Spanish acronym), Paola Carvajal, said that studies made by Consulsísmica, ​​over a period of nine months, prevent the sedimentation of the Guayas river and imply less impact of expropriation in the Samborondón urban area.

City halls of Guayaquil, Duale and Samborondón aspire to build two metallic bridges. One at La Joya complex (kilometer 14 of the León Febres-Cordero avenue, Daule Canton). The other would be near Liceo Panamericano (avenue Samborondón km 3,5).

The Government, however, through the contracted studies, proposes the construction of a bridge with two traffic distributors, one near Plaza Lagos (6.4 km from Av. Samborondón) and another that leads to Samanes Park, near the Narcisa de Jesus highway.
