Justin Bieber Is Immortalized in Madame Tussauds Wax Museums
Justin Bieber and his former swooping hairstyle have been immortalized in famous Madame Tussauds wax museums–located in New York, Amsterdam and London–, since three lifelike Bieber replicas (one for each museum) were unveiled yesterday.
“I’ll be removing a lot of lipstick from him,” said Madame Tussauds artist Morfy Gikas, who is in charge of maintaining the museum figures. “I also think he will need a lot of hair maintenance.”
“Thanks to the fans and @TussaudsLondon for today. From staring thru the glass to being made in wax inside… #neversaynever,” the pop star wrote on Twitter today.
“I think it’s clear ‘Bieber Fever’ is in full effect here,” said Madame Tussauds New York General Manager Bret Pidgeon. “I am sure he will get a lot of attention. He’s a great addition to the attraction.”
In New York, Bieber’s wax statue is alongside of his mentor Usher, in the VIP room. “To be immortalized in wax alongside some of my idols — Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyoncé and my mentor, Usher — is incredibly exciting and very cool,” Bieber added.
