Agustin Delgado Retires from the Ecuadorian Team

During the afternoon of the past Tuesday, Ecuadorian striker Agustin Delgado retired from his country soccer team. Many fans approached the player known as “Tin” to say goodbye.
According to the statements given by Delgado, “I leave with a sad heart because I will not be able to step on the field any more, but I am happy with all of what I did for the team.”
Delgado played a total of 72 matches with the Ecuadorian team, he became the number one soccer player of his country when he scored a goal in the World Cup of 2006 against Mexico. (AV)
