“I became involved with the fitness lifestyle when I realized how important athletics was for the daily life.” Harold Castedo.

The desire to be able to make and overcome any physical challenge was the main motivation for Harold, an Ecuadorian living in Miami, Florida for 20 years. Becoming stronger was one side of his goal, but soon he developed a thirst for science and knowledge on what its needed to be stronger.

In order to test his newfound knowledge, Harold founded “Running Group Est.”  and began working with it from July 2010 to July 2011, his vision allowed him to create a program to improve the healthy and quality of life. This is a non-profit organization that he successfully maintained for a whole year.

Thanks to word of mouth Harold began his movement through the social network Facebook. However the purpose of Harold was much bigger, he wanted to help people to overcome the barrier that kept most people from becoming fit. Harold came up with the idea called “Running Group,” a one-hour running program for people that wanted to see faster results.

The program requires no equipment, no specialized knowledge, and no money, only the will to do it. Through his work in Running Group, Harold developed it into a circuit style of training that included a specialized program focused on bodyweight exercises. Recently Harold informed Ecuador Times that he is planning a project similar to Running Group, however it’s still on the works. (AV)
