Nicolas Maduro

The late President of Venezuela and undisputed leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, knowing that he may not return alive from Cuba due to his devastating cancer, for the first time on his government he appointed his successor. “If some circumstance presents and I stay unfit to continue as head of the presidency, Maduro should follow. My steady opinion, absolute, total, irrevocable is that in that scenario, you elect Nicolas Maduro as new president of Venezuela. ”

In Wikipedia we find that Maduro was born on November 23, 1962 in Caracas. He was active in the Socialist League, worked from young age as a Metro bus driver in Caracas where he led its union. He is married to the deputy of the National Assembly of Venezuela for the District Capital and, until yesterday, general attorney of the country, Cilia Flores. He was elected deputy to the National Assembly in 2000, elected Chancellor of Venezuela in August 2006 and appointed Executive Vice President, three days after the presidential elections held on October 10, 2012.

Various media referred Maduro as “the leader of the most moderate civilian wing of the Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV), an affable, charismatic, patient man who has trained himself. “ However, several others branded him as radical, angry and even spoiled due to his well-known violent disrespect to anyone who dares to think differently to the Bolivarian Mission.

The only thing certain is that now the acting sworn-in president, Nicolas Maduro, has 30 days to counter the views and ideals of a candidate who threatens to wake the thought of Venezuelans and reveal hidden truths in the long list of lies of the “Chavista” government.

Henrique Capriles is the opposition candidate that Maduro will have to face.
