Miss World Final will be held despite complaints and protests

Aspirants to the crown of Miss World are preparing for the contest to be held tomorrow for the first time in Indonesia, despite all the vicissitudes that this beauty pageant has endured due the rejection of thousands of radicals who oppose to this contest.
The final of Miss World 2013 will be held with a better display of security than other years due to several threats from the Islamists and the fear of an attack.
In recent months, thousands of Islamic radicals took to the streets to demonstrate their opposition to the contest, denouncing it as a show with “obscenity and pornography”, or a “contest of prostitutes” and burning effigies of the organizers.
Organizers promised months ago that this year there would not be a walk in bikini, to avoid offending the host country, the most populous Muslim nation in the world.
