Posted On 01 Aug 2014
The executive secretary of the Democratic Unity Table (MUD), Ramon Guillermo Aveledo, resigned his post. But he said he will keep within the polity.
The announcement was made during the session to commemorate the birth of Simon Bolivar, an initiative of the City Council of El Hatillo.
All parties that are part of the MUD thanked Aveledo the labor after his resignation, who managed the unity of Chavez opponents and turned members of the opposition into a real option for power.
“Renunciation is renunciation, without qualification,” said Aveledo about the possibility to reverse its decision. He added that he did not want to be the sticking point within the alliance.
