Maduro: We will bring the injured and orphaned Palestinian children to Venezuela

Given the dramatic situation in Gaza, where every day Israeli bombs kill dozens of civilians, including innocent children, the Venezuelan president spoke on the matter and promised that his country will host some of the Palestinian children.

“I have decided to create a shelter with the name Hugo Chavez to bring children (Palestinians) wounded in the war, and those children who have lost their fathers, their mothers, orphaned children. Let us bring them to Venezuela,” said Nicolas Maduro at a public event.

“We’re going to welcome them with love and with the agreement of the Palestinian state, to some of these children we will seek them Venezuelan father and mothers,” he added. During his speech, the Venezuelan leader called for an end to the “extermination of the Palestinian people.”
