President Correa will attend possession of Juan Manuel Santos
President Rafael Correa plans to attend next Thursday 7 to the possession of his Colombian counterpart Juan Manuel Santos for a new period of government of four years (2014-2018) after winning in the polls to Oscar Iván Zuluaga.
The two presidents have strengthened to the maximum diplomatic relations which today are in a stage of great approach.
Correa will attend the event with ten other Latin American heads of state mainly, according to information provided by the Colombian Foreign Minister Maria Angela Holguin.
Among the guests to Juan Manuel Santos’s possession will also be King Juan Carlos of Spain, who recently abdicated in his son Philip VI.
The Ecuadorian president plans to travel on Thursday and return the same day after the possession.
