Posted On 03 Oct 2014
Venezuela maintains a debt to the state airline Tame, corresponding to transactions carried out between July and September of 2014 totaling $ 15 million.
Fernando Guerrero, General Manager of Tame, said that despite this drawback, the sale of tickets from Venezuela to Ecuador is not banned.
Tame maintains eight weekly flights to Venezuela and plans to raise that number to 11 flights from late October. However, Guerrero continues asking the Venezuelan government to pay to Tame.
4,100 billion dollars is the total Venezuela ows to international airlines. These maintained debts have caused a reduction of the frequency of flights in this country.
