Disabled people will have access to loans of up to $ 15,000 for endeavors

The Technical Secretariat of Disabilities (Setedis) and the National Development Bank (BNF for its Spanish acronym) announced on this Tuesday October 14 credit lines of up to $ 15,000 for entrepreneurs with disabilities, with an interest rate of 9.62% per year and a 5 years term with unsecured guarantee.
Roberto Jaramillo, National Coordinator of productive inclusion of the Setedis, explained that 250 projects are awaiting credits of the BNF for over a$ 1.1 million amount, so these will be projected nationwide through 2014 with 400 endeavors developed by people with disabilities.
Due to the increasing demand, Jaramillo projects that the Secretariat will finance about 1,000 endeavors for an estimated investment of $ 6 million for 2015.
