Without order from U.S. Prosecution of Ecuador will not investigate to Luis Chiriboga

The Ecuadorian Prosecutor’s Office will not open an investigation to the President of the Ecuadorian Football Federation, Luis Chiriboga, if the Prosecution of United States do not expressly ask for.

Galo Chiriboga, the Attorney General of the Nation,said the announcement by the scandal of fraud and money laundering involving several leaders of the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA).

Chiriboga said that the U.S. Attorney’s Office sent the Prosecutor’s offices of each country information on acts of corruption in various national federations, but Ecuador has not received any notification.

He explained that while this does not happen, he cannot start an investigation against Luis Chiriboga, although a request that verify their accounts is insufficient.
