The double murder committed in Montanita, where Marina Menegazzo (21) and Maria Jose Coni (22) lost their lives, announced as a case with a confessed mastermind, sees growing doubts as days pass by and the evident clash of conflicting versions. Confessions.
The official version of the case lies in the version of Ponce Mina, the inhabitant of Montanita, who according to the Interior Ministry, confessed the crime
The Belongings.
Clothing of the young women and the cell phone of Maria Jose were found in the yard of Ponce Mina´s house, considered the crime scene. Behind the house, in the undergrowth, two backpacks were also found. All this is a fact and casts doubt.
The scene.

The history.
The official version says that the Argentine tourists “left the hostel in which were lodging near 14:00 on February 22. That same evening they met the two men involved in the crime” and they went with them to the house of Ponce Mina. Ie, by their own will. This is the point of greatest discrepancy from the criticism of the family, that claim that the girls “knew other Argentine people” in the area and they would not ask for help from two strangers.

The distrust on the the process came into play when, just one day after the formal complaint, the Government announced on the Internet that the case was solved. According to Serrano, in 2015 the “vast majority” of homicides “were resolved in the first seven days,” he said.
