The opposition takes the lead

Making laws is not easy nor quick. Albeit, the opposition ‘takes the lead’ in submitting bills. The three opposition teams: the Social Christian-Madera de Guerrero Party (PSC-MG), the CREO-SUMA coalition and the National Integration bloc, made up of Pachakutik, the Democratic Left, and Fuerza Ecuador, have not wasted their time in these three weeks of work.
The first proposal is by Cristina Reyes (PSC-MG). She seeks to reform the Labor Justice law. “To eliminate the ceiling to the profits that were imposed on private workers,” Legislator Reyes said.
The second proposal is by Dallyana Passailaigue, who seeks to reform the Higher Education Act. According to this Legislator, this proposal is aimed at thousands of young people who can not study the career they want because the State forces them to choose other professions. “I am fulfilling the promise we made in our election campaign,” she said.
She takes the words of President Lenin Moreno. During his campaign, he ensured that the government can not deny young people to study the career of their dreams.
Alianza PAIS is not concerned about being left behind in submitting legislative proposals. The ruling party finished organizing its internal work and drafted the legislative agenda. To this end, each commission has determined priorities for the first 100 days of work (I).
