Project with the European Union to improve exports

Food, textiles, wood, crafts, are some of the sectors that could improve their productivity, increase their exports or export for the first time to the European Union (EU) within the framework of the Trade Agreement with that bloc and within a project aimed at micro, small and medium enterprises (mipymes) and associative groups that began in 2017 and will end in 2020.
According to Daniel Legarda, president of Fedexpor, there are 210 companies participating. Of them, 25 small and medium-sized food companies.
The first stage of the project was to choose the beneficiaries. Sales of up to $ 5 million and two years of activity were taken into account. At the end of the month the second stage would be closed, which is the diagnosis and the action plan. Then the execution will come.
