Ecuador in position 86 of 140 in competitiveness

The Global Competitiveness Index 4.0 (ICG 4.0) of the World Economic Forum (WEF) places Ecuador this year in position 86 among 140 economies with 55.8 points. It was announced yesterday by Espae.

Sara Wong, professor of this center of studies, explained that given the change of methodology, the results of this year cannot be compared with the competitiveness published by the FEM in the Global Competitiveness Report last year.
