Ecuadornews:

The first industry that yesterday visited Foreign Trade Minister Pablo Campana was Alimentsa, specialized in the production of shrimp feed. Its managers announced the commercial alliance with the fish feed multinational BioMar, based in Denmark.
Deputy manager of Alimentsa Danny Velez explained that this agreement supposes an increase in food exports from 400 to 1,000 tons per month. And this would be, according to him, thanks to the presence of BioMar in about 80 countries.
The alliance involves the acquisition by BioMar of 70% of Alimentsa. Campana spoke of an investment of 110 million dollars, which would mean a message of confidence for Ecuador.
“It is a message of confidence in the business community and we will give all the facilities to finish this injection of capital,” he said. (I)
