In the morning, the place is full of black suits, heels and a display of elegance. When they go out to get some air, executives working at The Point enjoy the Guayas River view, as well as they see tourists and joggers pass.
At night, the lights of Puerto Santa Ana light up. The nightlife thrives with the influx of visitors to the restaurants and bars along the way.
The tourist fame of the pier has flourished quickly and does not go unnoticed, but a little we know of those who have begun to inhabit the place that years ago seemed desolate, and even unsafe at night.
The occupational index of Puerto Santa Ana is 70%, and its three dominant segments are executives, renters, and permanent inhabitants. (I)
