The event is called ‘Debate, talking for Ecuador.’ The head of the Chamber of Construction of Guayaquil, Enrique Pita, explained yesterday that the ‘initiative’ seeks that the hopefuls develop their proposals for a future government in case of winning the elections.
In a press conference, along with other organizers, Pita indicated that the event will take place on a television set and without public so that politicians feel ‘comfortable.’
He said it will last two hours, but he did not give other details, because, he said, these will be defined in conjunction with the teams of the candidates.
Other of its promoters is the Ecuadorian Association of Broadcasting (AER), which yesterday communicated via bulletin it will conduct a “cycle of conversations” with Lasso and Moreno, separately, but gave no date
