The Mexican emergency teams and the government finalized the rescue works, to give way to other procedures.
The commander of the Quito Fire Brigade Eber Arroyo referred to the current situation of the Ecuadorian group during the search and rescue efforts following the earthquake in Mexico last week. “We are ok, in high spirits, we are calm,” said Arroyo, during a telephone conversation held with the program “The Power of the Word” of Ecuadorinmediato.com/Radio.
The commander of the Fire Department of the Ecuadorian capital said that after assisting in different searches in the most affected areas of the Aztec country, they only await the orders of the national government to leave Mexico. (I)
