Ahmadinejad critices Western nations

Yesterday, the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad strongly criticized Israel in the UN. The Iranian leader referred to the country as “uncivilized Zionists,” for threatening Iran with a military action that demonstrates the “arms race and intimidation” that “are performed by hegemonic powers.”

Ahmadinejad made a clear reference to Israel and Western nations saying that the world lives a moment with a tendency towards “the imposition of wars, instability, and occupations to guarantee economic interests and expand their domain over sensible centres that dominate the attention of the world.”

The United Sates president, Barack Obama also intervened yesterday to clarify that he “will do what he has to” to prevent that Iran obtains a nuclear weapon, reassuring that the time to reach a diplomatic solution “is not unlimited.”

During the intervention of the Iranian leader, the delegation of United Sates was absent as protest against the recent declarations of Ahmadinejad. AV
